Prospector Offshore Drilling is poised to launch the newest high specification jack-up rig fleet in the world, featuring the most advanced drilling system available.

The construction process for Prospector's six state-of-the-art jack-up rigs began in December 2010 and is ongoing. Prospector has two rigs being constructed at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co., Ltd. (DSIC Offshore). Prospector also has four additional rigs being constructed at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (SWS). Deliveries will begin in the third quarter 2013 and continue through the first quarter of 2016. The total project cost is estimated at $1.2 billion, which includes project management, drilling and handling tools, spare parts and commissioning costs. We also have option agreements for construction of three additional new-build jack-ups with DSIC Offshore and one with SWS.

Prospector Offshore Drilling S.A. was incorporated in Luxembourg on 28 May, 2010. The Company was capitalized with an initial private placement offering of US $70 million which completed on 3 December, 2010 a subsequent private placement for $65 million that completed on March 1, 2011, and a private placement of $60 million that completed on 18 September, 2012. On 21 February, 2011 the Company began trading publicly on the Oslo Axess Exchange under the symbol, PROS.
